USA Swimming took a team of 10 swimmers to Moscow, Russia and Berlin, Germany. CAT's own Jacob Pebley is competing with the team along with Michael Phelps and Missy Franklin.
The Moscow meet is scheduled for Oct. 18-19. Jacob will be swimming the 50, 100, and 200 backstrokes along with the 400 IM.
FYI: Jacob went into these competitions with no taper rest. Swimming regular practices. First day of competition in Moscow Jacob finished 7th in the 400 i.m. and 100 back. Both appeared to be best times or somewhere around there. The meet is short course meters.
Wednesday evening in Moscow Jacob went into finals as the top seed in the 200 back. Michael Phelps in lane 7. He was first at the 150 mark. Finished 4th with a great swim. Phelps won the event.
