2019 Oregon Swimming Awards Ceremony

OSI Top 5 Awards

On Sunday, November 17 Oregon Swimming recognized the top 5 swimmers in each age group for their championship events, the top 5 swimmers for each age group for IMX score, and the top 5 clubs in USA Swimming Virtual Club Championship. 

CAT was ranked in 5th place in the VCC for clubs with 101+ swimmers for the long course season. Ninteen of our CAT athletes were also recognized. Congratulations to Maggie Clemens, Lauren Cordier, Sarah Cordier, Francesca Criscione, Vivi Criscione, Theo Delmonaco, Liam Edwards, Matthew Edwards, Ty Guenther, Nathan Hall, Andrew Hanson, Ellie Leeming, Liam Leeming, Paula Lomonaco, Zayda Miehl, Madeline Nason, Ian Shultz, Emily Silldorff, and Gabrielle Smit. 

In addition to recognizing these current athletes OSI has created an Oregon Swimming Hall of Fame. The initial class will be inducted at this years awards ceremony. A list of the athletes and their accomplishments can be found on the Hall of Fame page on the OSI website.

Several other awards are given each year to coaches, officials, volunteers, and others involved in the sport of swimming in Oregon.  CAT coach Greg Bostrom was the 2019 recipient of the Excellence in Coaching award at this year's ceremony.  Congratulations Greg!!
