FINA World Cup USA Swimming took a team of 10 swimmers to Moscow, Russia and Berlin, Germany. CAT's own Jacob Pebley is competing with the team along with Michael Phelps and Missy Franklin. The Moscow meet is scheduled for Oct. 18-19. Jacob will be swimming the 50, 100, and 200 backstrokes along with the 400 IM. FYI: Jacob went into these competitions with no taper rest. Corvallis Aquatic Team Fundraising Meet Volunteering 2011-12 Volunteerism is an important part of being a member of the Corvallis Aquatic Team. Every CAT family is required to volunteer at fundraising meets held from December through May of each year. The team has changed the requirements for this year and instead of a certain number of hours per meet, there will be an annual number of hours required. CAT has eleven swimmers competing at the AGS meet in Federal Way, Washington: Kayla, Emily, Nathaniel, Lindsey, Kieran, Dana, Zoey, Rylie, Madison, Patrick and Molly. Friday Patrick and Nathaniel had best times in the 50 free. For the first time, Nathaniel went under :30 seconds. Dana had a seasonal best time in the 100 brst in her 4th championship of the season.
